Stade de Reims may be turning a page in its history. While Dijon FCO and OGC Nice had already raised questions about the future of their teams, the Reims club has decided to change its women's team setup. The Rémoises, who secured their stay in the Second League on May 24 against Lille, will not return to D2. The Second League, a second-tier national league, was where the Stadistes had managed to stay afloat with Sarah Chalabi at the helm and reduced resources since the team's relegation last year. The work of this rejuvenated and almost entirely renewed team, except for a few historic players like Mathilde Kack or Léa Notel, will thus be filed away. As Sarah Chalabi has decided to take a new path, the Reims club will need to find a new coach to lead the women's team.
