Stade de Reims wants to react to the different information relayed in recent hours about the future of its women's team. The Club continues to fully engage in favor of the development of the practice and will continue to evolve, at the heart of the Raymond Kopa Life Center, more than a hundred licensed players. The women's team has experienced significant growth since its relaunch in 2014 and has allowed dozens of young players to emerge at the highest national and international level. This mission of formation, accompaniment and revelation of young talents remains at the heart of the project of the women's team of Stade de Reims. A philosophy that guides the entire development policy of the Club, both in its male and female courses. On the other hand, the constant evolution of regulatory, organizational and structural requirements, imposed in a global economic context of French football particularly constrained, does not allow the Club to maintain the registration of the first team in a national championship. Facing this reality, and to ensure the perpetuity of its female project, Stade de Reims has therefore chosen to concentrate its resources on the maintenance and sustainable development of its women's section as a whole. A decision that allows it to preserve its formative role, its territorial anchorage and its ability to make women's football accessible to the greatest number of young players. Stade de Reims remains fully committed to women's football and will continue to be a major actor on its territory.
